The interview schedule for the Indian Forest Service, IFS Main examination 2020 has been released by the Union Public Service Commission, UPSC. The exam result of UPSC IFS Main exam 2021 has already been published roll number wise on 16th June 2021. A total of 222 candidates qualified in the Main Examination 2020. The Main Exam was held from 28th February to 7th March 2021. The candidates can check the UPSC official website for more details on the IFS interview- upsc.gov.in.
As per the official notification issued by UPSC, the commission will conduct the interview from 18th October 2021 onwards. The candidates who qualified for the Main Examination 2020 can appear for the interview.

Selection Process:
The selection process of UPSC IFS 2020 is conducted in different stages. The candidates are required to appear for the preliminary exam which includes objective-type questions and carries a 400 marks weightage. The candidates who qualify for the prelims exam become eligible to appear for the main examination. The Main exam includes a written test followed by an interview. There are six papers in the written test and the interview carries 300 marks. The candidates must note that there are no qualifying marks for the interview, the final selection list is based on all performance in all the examinations conducted.
