UPSC ESE Mains DAF 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the Detailed Application Form (DAF) for the UPSC Engineering Services Examination (ESE), 2023. Candidates can fill out the DAF on the official websites upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in.


UPSC ESE DAF 2023: Important Details

Candidates can fill out the DAF until August 19, 2023. The UPSC Engineering Services Main Exam 2023 was conducted on June 25, 2023.

“In accordance with the Rules of Engineering Services Examination, 2023, all these candidates are required to mandatorily fill up the Detailed Application Form (DAF), which will be made available on the Commission’s Website https://upsconline.nic.in in due course. Important instructions regarding filling up of DAF and submitting the same ONLINE to the Commission will also be made available on website. The candidates who have been declared successful have to first get themselves registered on the relevant page of the website before filling up the ONLINE DAF and submit the same ONLINE along with uploading of the scanned copies of relevant certificates/documents in support of their eligibility, claim for reservation etc,” reads the official notification.

Recruitment based on the results of this examination will be made for the Services/Posts under the following categories: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.

UPSC has announced a total of 327 vacancies to be filled in three phases, consisting of a preliminary exam, main exam, and personality test.
 

UPSC ESE 2023 DAF: How to Register

The candidates can follow the steps given below to register for the UPSC ESE 2023 DAF:
  1. Log on to the official website, upsconline.nic.in.
  2. Click on "DAF for Various exams of of UPSC" and click on the DAF link.
  3. Login using your credentials.
  4. Fill out the DAF form, upload documents and submit.
  5. Download form and take a printout for future reference.
