UPSC Civil Services Exam 2019 EWS quota notification released

UPSC Civil Services Exam 2019 EWS quota notification update: The Union Public Service Commission has issued a notification for candidates belonging to the EWS quota. The notification is in connection with the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2019. 

The notification mentions the following points.
Civil Services (P) Exam 2019 – (Application Submission and EWS related Important Notice)
1) Candidates who have completed Part-I of the application form are requested to complete Part-II and submit the application, immediately, in order to avoid last days rush.
2) Candidates who wish to apply under EWS category are requested to get their EWS Certificate ready by 1st August, 2019.
 

The Union Public Service Commission, in consultation with the Government (Ministry of Mines, the Nodal Ministry), has decided to revise the Scheme, Pattern and Syllabi of the Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist Examination.


The salient features of the same are as follows.
(i) The nomenclature of this Examination has been changed to “Combined
Geo-Scientist Examination” in place of “Combined Geo-Scientist and
Geologist Examination”.
(ii) There will a three tier examination pattern i.e. (i) Stage-I : Preliminary
Examination (ii) Stage-II: Main Examination (iii) Stage-III : Personality
Test.
(iii) Preliminary Examination will screen the candidates for taking the Main Examination (Stage–II).
