The official notification for the Combined Defence Service Examination (I) 2020 has been released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

The application process for the same has begun and will conclude on November 19, 2019.

The notification is now available on the official website i.e. upcs.gov.in.
The candidates who wish to appear for the exam can visit the official website and apply for the same.

UPSC CDS Exam (I) 2020 Notification

Educational qualification required:

IMA and Officers' Training Academy: Degree of a recognised university or equivalent.

Indian Naval Academy: Degree in engineering from a recognised university/institution

Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognised university (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or bachelor of engineering.

Note: Graduates with the first choice as Army/Navy/Air Force are to submit proof of graduation provisional certificates on the date of commencement of the SSB interview.

Examination scheme:

The competitive examination comprises:

- Written examination
- Interview for intelligence and personality of such candidates as may be called for interview at one of the services selection centres.
