UPSC CAPF 2020: Exam Notification Deferred Again, Check Latest Update

The examination notification for the UPSC CAPF 2020 has been deferred by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). A one-line notice was posted on the official website about the deferment of the exam notification. 

However, there has been no date fixed for the exam yet on the official website of UPSC.

The one-line update on the UPSC website reads,” CAPF(ACs) Exam-2020, scheduled to be notified on 22-04-2020, stand deferred till further notice”. The new dates of the release of the notification will be updated on the website as soon as it is decided.


The CAPF 2020 examination has been scheduled to be conducted on August 9, 2020, and the notification was supposed to be released on April 22, 2020, according to the academic calendar of UPSC. However, due to the nationwide lockdown in view of the coronavirus outbreak, the exams and registration processes are being delayed.


For any recent updates or new information about the examinations, the candidates are advised to keep a regular check on the official UPSC website upsc.gov.in.
The commission said that all interviews and exams where the candidates need to travel will be deferred for public health and safety as per a press release updated on the UPSC website. The date of such interviews and exams will be announced after May 3, when the lockdown will be over.
