The revised dates for the UPSC exams have been announced by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
The revised dates have been released for the exams which were postponed due to national lockdown.
The UPSC has uploaded a new examination calendar on its official website i.e. upsc.gov.in.
The major exam that delayed was Civil Services Prelims. It was earlier scheduled to be conducted on May 31, 2020.
Along with Civil Services Prelims, the revised dates have been released for UPSC NDA Exam, UPSC CMS exam etc.
Many exams like UPSC Combined Medical Services, CMS or UPSC National Defence Academy exam have been deferred this year.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) selects candidates for Civil Services through a preliminary exam and the main exam. While the preliminary exam is a written test, the main exam comprises a written test and an interview round.
Over 10 lakh candidates register for the Civil Services preliminary exam every year.
UPSC will issue admit cards to candidates after the exam dates are fixed.
