The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has commenced the facility to change in examination district for the UPPSC RO / RO-2016 (Pre) exam. The commission has issued an official notification on its website regarding this. All those candidates who have applied for the Review Officer / Assistant Review Officer 2016 are eligible to modify the district choice. The exam district changing facility has been commenced by the Commission on August 19 and will be continued till August 25, 2020.
Eligible candidates are advised to visit the official website and change the exam district choice for the preliminary examination. The facility to change in examination district is available on the official website of UPPSC at uppsc.up.nic.in.
The RO / RO-2016 preliminary examination conducted on 27 November 2016 was cancelled due to controversies. There was a dispute on the exam day itself. The candidates had alleged that the first shift paper from a centre in Lucknow has gone viral on WhatsApp but no action was taken by the Commission. In this case, IPS officer Amitabh Thakur came forward on behalf of the candidates and filed a case in Lucknow Court.
The preliminary examination of RO / ARO-2016 was conducted at 827 centres in 21 districts. A total of 385191 candidates were registered for the examination. Of these, 52.20 percent appeared in the first shift and 52.77 percent of the candidates appeared in the second shift.
