UPPSC PCS Mains 2023: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) started registrations for the Combined State/ Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) Main Exam 2023 on July 7, 2023. Eligible candidates can apply for the PCS 2023 Main Exam on the official website of the UPPSC, uppsc.up.nic.in.
UPPSC PCS Mains 2023 Registration Begins: Important Details
The last date to apply for the UPPSC PCS 2023 Main Exam is July 21, 2023. The correction window to edit the application form details will remain open from July 7 to July 28, 2023.
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) announced the results of the UP PCS Prelims 2023 exam on June 26, 2023. Candidates who have qualified the Prelims examination are eligible to apply for the main examination. A total of 4,047 candidates have been shortlisted to appear for the Main examination.
The UPPSC PCS Prelims 2023 Exam, held for the recruitment of 254 PCS posts, took place on May 14, 2023, in two shifts across 1,241 centres in 51 districts of the state.

UPPSC PCS 2023 Vacancy Details
The exam is being conducted for a total of 254 vacancies for various posts, including Sub Registrar, Assistant Labour Commissioner, Assistant Controller Legal Measurement (Grade 11), Technical Assistant (Geology), Law Officer, Technical Assistant (Geophysics), Tax Assessment Officer, g.Dy. Superintendent of Police, Superintendent of Jail, District Commandant Home Guards, Excise Inspector, and Deputy Jailor. However, the number of vacancies may increase or decrease depending on circumstances or requirements.
