The exam date for the engineering services exam has been released today, on 20th December by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, UPPSC. As per the official notification, the exam for engineering services will be conducted on 23rd January 2022. The candidates who have registered themselves for the examination can now find more details on the official website- uppsc.up.nic.in.
The commission is conducting the examination to recruit candidates for vacancies on 281 posts. The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written examination and personal interview round. The candidate who qualifies for the written exam will become eligible to appear for the interview round. The candidates must note that the examination will be conducted in two different sessions- the first session will be from 9 am to 11.30 am and the second session will be from 2 pm to 4.30 pm.
The official notification reads “All original certificates shall be verified at the time of interview. Candidates will also be required to furnish four passport size photographs, two unattested and two attested by their head of department or head of the institution where they received education or by a gazetted officer at the time of interview.”

The shortlisted candidates will be posted to different departments in the state- Public Works Department (P.W.D.), Housing and Urban Planning Department, Nagar Vikas Vibhag, etc. The admit card of candidates to appear for the engineering services examination is expected to be released by mid-January 2022. The candidates are advised to regularly visit the official website for more related details and updates.
