Amid the extension of countrywide lockdown, the Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur has extended the application date for the UP-CATET 2020. The Varsity has issued an official notice regarding this stating the postponement of the application process and exam dates.
According to the revised schedule, the application process has been extended upto May 15, while the fee payment date has been extended to May 16, 2020.
Earlier the UP-CATET (Upper Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test) 2020 online application process for admission in Agricultural Universities was opened upto April 23, 2020. It has also been stated in the notification that the entrance examination which was scheduled to be held on May 14, 15 & 16 will stand postponed. The new dates for the examination will be announced by the authority when the situation turns conducive.
This is an opportunity for candidates who wish to take admission in agriculture universities in Uttar Pradesh state. Candidates can go through the details provided here to apply for the exam. The UPCATET 2020 Application Form was earlier concluding on March 31 which was further extended to April 23, 2020.
According to the official notification, As per the current circumstances caused due to the extension of the countrywide lockdown by the Government of India from April 15 to May 03, in light of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur has extended the application date for the entrance examination.

UPCATET 2020: How to Fill the Application Form?
- Visit the official website i.e. www.upcatet.org
- Go to the 'Application Information Segment' and click on the New Registration Link
- Complete the registration process and generate new ID & Password
- Log in through the ID and fill in the required details in the form
- Pay the application fee through online mode and finally submit the application
- Download confirmation page for further reference

About UPCATET 2020:
This year, the entrance examination is being conducted by Chandrasekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur ion behalf of the Registrar Entrance Examination of Agriculture and Technology University (CSA). The entrance test will be conducted at six centres of the state. In this, successful candidates will be able to enrol in four state universities;
- Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur;
- Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut;
- Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, Kumarganj, Faridabad;
