UP Board 2019: The examination for students of Class 10 and Class 12 studying in state-run schools will begin by the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board from February 7, 2019.

 

the high school examination will end on February 28, 2019, while intermediate will conclude on March 2, 2019.

 

It has been decided that the time of morning shift of exam would be extended to be conducted at 8 am from 7:30 am considering the winter season.

 

A total of 57.9 lakh registrations has been done by the candidates, which is 8.5 lakh less than those who registered in 2018 when 66.4 lakh candidates had registered.

 

Out of 32 lakh candidates who registered online, 23,944 would appear as private candidates.


 

For class 12 at least 25.8 lakh candidates have registered of which 68,440 will be appearing as private candidates.

 

There is a significant dip in the number of private candidates I both class 10 as well as class 12.

 

For class 10 and class 12 examination, last year 1.1 lakh and 1.5 lakh private candidates registered respectively.

 

Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma said while releasing the schedule, that the results will be announced by April 30, 2019.

 

He also said that the students will get enough time to prepare are it's historic that the examination schedule has been announced five months before the examination.

 

The class 10 examination will end in 14 working days and class 12 examinations will end in 16 working days.

 

In fixing the time-table, the public holidays with special consideration of Kumbh festival has been done said the Minister.

 

The students must be very careful, as there will be a voice recorder facility in addition to the CCTV cameras in the examination centres.

 

The schools which have been blacklisted or debarred will not be made an examination centre.
 

Even the centre fixation will be done online.

 

In this examination, barcoded answer copies will be used.


The girls will have self-centers but there will be external invigilators, the minister instructed the officials.
