The announcement has been made by the Secretary of School Education Department, Uttarakhand, R Meenakshi Sundaram regarding the postpone of board exams to ensure the social distancing measures being imposed due to Coronavirus pandemic.
Apart from Uttrakhand, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Kerala, Goa, Telangana, and Punjab have also postponed the board exams.
Keeping in mind the present situation, the board exams can be further postponed and on the other hand, the result will also be delayed.
A lot of measures have been deployed by State and Central Governments to contain the spread of the Novel Coronavirus.
