UGC NET June 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the schedule for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2024 for the June session. The candidates who are going to appear for the same can visit the official website i.e. ugcnet.nta.ac.in. to check the schedule. 

According to the official notice, the UGC NET June 2024 exam will be re-conducted from 21 August to 4 September 2024 in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The notification regarding intimation of the City of the exam center will be issued on the official website(s) i.e.,ugcnet.nta.ac.in. and nta.ac.in. 10 days before the exam. 

According to the schedule, UGC NET exam will be conducted in two shifts i.e.from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm. The UGC NET re-exam date of 2024 was announced recently. The Ministry of education canceled UGC NET 2024 held on June 24 after its conduction because of paper leakage charges.

Later, Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan informed that the paper was leaked on darknet. The exam was administered in two shifts on a single day for the first time. Initially, the test was conducted on 16 June which was later postponed to 18 June 2024 due to a clash with the Union Public Service Commission Civil Services Examination (UPSC CSE) prelims 2024.

The exam is conducted twice every year for a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as an assistant professor, and admission to PhD programs in Indian universities and colleges.
