The extended application process for the UGC National Eligibility Test June 2020 is to conclude in May 2020, by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
The National Testing Agency (NTA) had extended the application process for the UGC National Eligibility Test June 2020.
The NTA has made the application forms available on the official website i.e. ugcnetonline.in.
The candidates who wish to appear for the exam can visit the official website and apply for the same till May 16, 2020.
The exam is for the Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through NTA UGC NET‘s website ntanet.nic.in from form 16.03.2020 to 16.05.2020.

Selection Process: Selection will be based on Online Exam.
The award of JRF and or Eligibility for Assistant Professor depends on the performance Paper-I and paper-II of UGC-NET.
The candidates qualifying only for Assistant Professor are not to be considered for the award of JRF. Candidates who qualify the test for eligibility for Assistant Professor are governed by the rules and regulations for recruitment of Assistant Professor of the concerned universities/colleges/state governments, as the case may be.
UGC-NET 2020: Exam Pattern
Total 150 questions will be asked in NET (Paper 1: 50 Question and Paper 2: 100 Questions). All questions are compulsory to attempt.
Paper I will consist of General Aptitude Questions and Paper II will have questions related to the subject selected by candidates. M
Hindi and English are the only options to attempt UGC NET. The choice for the paper medium can be exercised at the time of filling the form.
UGC-NET exam is an MCQ one. There is no negative marking in this exam and the total duration of the exam is 3 hours.
The exam contains two papers that candidates need to complete in a duration of three hours. Both paper-I and -II contain objective-type questions and it is mandatory for candidates to attempt questions from both the papers.
