The online window to make necessary changes in the UGC NET 2018 application form has been activated, the registered candidates can make necessary changes through the official website.
While the correction process started at 10 am on Monday (October 8, 2018), the registered candidates who wish to make necessary changes can do so till October 14.

The simple steps to correct UGC NET 2018 form as follows:
Step 1: Visit ntanet.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the Detailed Guidelines for Correction option.
Step 3: A PDF file mentioning correction process will pop up
Step 4: Read the instructions and submit the corrected form.
Discrepancies related with Photographs and Signature:
Here are few common issues that may result in the rejection of application forms.
Unclear or hazy photograph
Too dark or colourful background
Red-eyes due to improper flash
Focus not on face
Incorrect size or dimension e.g. Stamp size photo
Looking down or here and there, and not looking straight at the camera
Selfies with people or scenery in the background
Dark sun glasses or fancy glasses hiding face/eyes
Invisible signature due to poor scanning or very small size
Horizontal photograph & vertical signature
Writing name in capital letters instead of signature in running handwriting
