The University Grants Commission (UGC) has asked all universities and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to use the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) score for undergraduate (UG) admissions to save students from appearing in multiple entrance examinations.

The UGC Official Notice

The official notice said that these entrance exams are held on different dates that, at times, coincide with each other. The UGC has asked the universities to use the CUET score for UG admissions to provide equal opportunity to students from different boards.

The commission has also requested all the concerned institutions to complete their UG and PG admission processes by July 2023 and begin the academic session by August 01, 2023.
