The last date for registration for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2022 has been extended by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay. Earlier the deadline for registration was till October 17, but now it has been extended to October 24. Candidates who have not yet registered themselves can apply by visiting the official website of UCEED -uceedapp.iitb.ac.in.
Steps to Register for UCEED 2022:
- Visit the official website of UCEED - uceedapp.iitb.ac.in.
- Click on the 'Register' tab available on the homepage.
- As the new page opens, enter the registered credentials and hit the 'Submit' button.
- Now, fill the UCEED 2022 application form by entering the required details.
- Pay the fee online and submit the filled UCEED form. Download and keep a copy of it with you for future use.
Important Dates:
- Last date for online registration with a regular fee - October 24, 2021
- Last date for online registration with a late fee - October 29, 2021
- Starting date to download admit card - January 8, 2022, onwards
- The last date for correction of discrepancies in admit card - January 14, 2022 (5 PM)
- UCEED 2022 test date - January 23, 2022
- Release of final answer key - January 31, 2022
- Declaration of results – March 10, 2022
Keep in mind that UCEED is a design entrance exam, conducted to shortlist candidates for BEDS admission in IIT Bombay, Guwahati, Delhi, IITDM Jabalpur and Hyderabad. The exam is conducted at the national level and once a year in 24 cities of the country. Candidates who have passed class 12th or its equivalent in the year 2021 or appearing in 2022 are eligible to apply for UCEED.
Only those students who have passed UCEED can apply for admission to BDS programs in the above institutes. Keep in mind that the last date for withdrawal or cancellation of the provisionally allotted seat is October 25. Students who have withdrawn or cancelled their seat on or before October 25 will get a refund of the seat acceptance fee but their processing fee will be deducted. Refund will be sent to the mentioned bank account which the candidates said at the time of filling their BDS application form.
