The Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Bombay has again extended the application last date for UCEED 2022. As per the official updates, aspiring candidates can further apply for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2022 with regular fee till Sunday, 31st October 2021. The Institute has extended the UCEED 2022 application date twice in a row this year.
The application was previously scheduled to conclude on Sunday, 24th October 2021. Moreover, the candidates can register for the UCEED 2022 exam with late fee till Friday, 5th November 2021. By qualifying UCEED examination, candidates become eligible to take admission to the Bachelor of Design (BDes) programmes at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad and IIITDM Jabalpur.

UCEED 2022 - Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: Candidate should have been born on or after October 1, 1997. (October 1, 1992 if belonging to the SC, ST or PwD category).
Number of Attempts: A candidate can attempt UCEED for a maximum of two times and that too in consecutive years.
Educational Qualification: The candidate should have passed Class XII or equivalent in all subjects, or appearing in 2022, in ANY STREAM (Science, Commerce, or Arts & Humanities) are eligible to appear for the exam.
UCEED 2022 - Application Fee (Without Late Fee)
Indian Nationals:
Female Candidates (all categories) - ₹ 1750
SC, ST, PwD Candidates - ₹ 1750
All Other Candidates - ₹ 3500
Foreign Nationals:
Candidates from SAARC countries - US $ 350
Candidates from Non-SAARC countries - US $ 450
UCEED 2022 - How to fill online application form?
- Firstly, visit the official website UCEED 2022 at uceedapp.iitb.ac.in.
- Thoroughly read the details provided in UCEED information brochure such as; important dates, eligibility criteria, application fee, etc.
- Now go to the registration link and generate user id and password (for new users).
- Feed in the details asked in the pplication form and upload scanned images of documents in the prescribed format.
- Submit the application fee and cross check the application details carefully.
- Candidates are advised to take print of the confirmation page and keep it safe for further use.
