TS PGECET 2022: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has extended the application window for TS PGECET 2022 exam on July 11, 2022. Notably, the application process was about to conclude on July 10, which has now been extended till July 17, 2022. Candidates desirous of applying for the Telangana Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test 2022 (TS PGECET 2022) can proceed with the registration procedure on the official website of TS PGECET at pgecet.tsche.ac.in.

TS PGECET 2022: What Next?

Once the application window for the exam shuts down, the exam conducting authorities will open the application correction window, followed by the release of the admit cards. Initially, the admit cards were expected to be released on or after July 20, the release of which is likely to be deferred now, due to revision in application dates for the exam. 

Candidates must keep a close check on the official website of TS PGECET for latest details related to the revised schedule.

TS PGECET 2022: Documents Required to Apply For Exam

Candidates must keep the following documents handy before proceeding to apply for TS PGECET 2022 exam.
  • Hall ticket of qualifying examination
  • Birth certificate
  • SSC certificate
  • Income certificate of parents
  • Category/Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • Local status certificate
TS PGECET 2022: Application Fee

The application fee amount has been fixed as Rs 1,000 for general category candidates. The candidates belonging to the reserved category will be required to pay Rs 500 to register for the exam. Payments are facilitated through online mode.

TS PGECET 2022: Paper Pattern
 
The Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test 2022 will take place only in the online mode, as a Computer-based test, from July 29 until August 1, 2022. The duration of the exam will be two hours, in which 120 multiple choice questions will be asked.
 
Each correct response will award one mark to the candidates, while no marks will be deducted for wrong answers. The exam will be held in two sessions: Morning session and afternoon session.
 
TS PGECET 2022: Application Steps
 
Candidates who wish to apply for the state level exam must abide by the simple steps mentioned below.
  1. Go to the official website of TS PGECET at pgecet.tsche.ac.in.
  2. Click on the link to apply for TS PGECET 2022 under the tab that reads 'Application' to make payment of application fee first.
  3. Next, fill in the application form details after completing the application fee payment process.
  4. Then, upload all the necessary documents in the prescribed format.
  5. Finally, submit the application form details.
  6. Preview the filled application form and print its hard copy for future references.
