TISSNET 2019: Exam Schedule Revised, Check the Details
TISSNET 2019

The examination scheduled of TISSNET 2019 has been revised by the Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS).


 

Originally TISSNET examination was scheduled to be on January 19, 2019, as per the Notification released by TISS on September 18, 2018.
 

The examination dates has now been changed to January 13, 2019 as per the official website.
 

Now the exam will be held exactly one week after XAT 2019 and one week earlier than its actual dates.

 

The rest of the syllabus remains the same while only the test date has changed.

 

The registration process for the Tata Institute of Social Science National Eligibility Test will commence by October 22, 2018, from 10:00 am onward.

 

The candidates interested will get 50 days to register for the same. The registration process will come to an end at 5:00 pm on December 10, 2018.

 

How to register for TISS NET 2019?


Steps to apply for TISS NET 2019 is given below.


Step 1: Visit the official website i.e. admissions.tiss.edu.

Step 2: Go to the TISS NET 2019 notification mentioning the application process.

Step 3: Read the instructions and apply accordingly.

 


Exam pattern

General Awareness - 40 marks

English Proficiency - 30 marks

Maths and Logical Reasoning- 30 marks
 

 

There are many course which the TISS offers for admission such as M.A., M.Sc., M.H.A., M.P.H.
 

Some of them are considered to be equivalent to MBA degree.

 

Candidates interested in Management Studies mostly choose M.A. in Human Resource and Labour Relations.
 

There are a total of 60 seats which are only available at the Mumbai campus for HRM in TISS.

 

There are around 55 programmes that the TISS is providing.

 

Out of these 55 programmes in the TISSNET 2019 Application form any candidates can choose a maximum of three courses.

 

The candidates are to only fill one form and no duplicacy will be entertained.

There will be a common examination for the number of courses selected by a student.
 

According to the order of preference of the courses selected by the students, the admission will take place.
