One month after vacations it becomes a bit tiring to catch-up school and the studies; to become used to it one should make a time plan for your activities and self-study.
Midterms exams are approaching, need to finish half of the syllabus, but are you studying in the right way?
Here are the few points which can make you exam ready:
1. Study Space:
Many of us become sleepy as soon as we sit for self-studies, the reason is not that it is boring but the way and the space you are using for studies makes a major role.
Always opt for a study table for any sort of studies, whether writing, reading, and revising or whether it is only homework.
Stay away from the bed or couch area those are only meant to relax thus using them for studies can make you sleepy and lazy.
Also, always keep your study place tidy, there should not be any sort of clutter at your desk, organise your study space and have enough space for the textbook or to stick on your notes out.
2. Time:
It is important to make a timetable but it is more important to do it wisely, for example in your study plan if you are studying right after the heavy meals that will surely put you on sleep and will make you lazy.
Always try to be a morning person and try to choose for new topics. In the morning the mind is always fresh and one can start new topics for study.
Whereas, Night/evening should be kept for revision or practising the topics which have been covered before.
The student should try model paper at home, which will sharpen their speed and accuracy.
3. Read
Whatever the topics you are reading, read it loudly. Speak out loud instead of simply reading it in your mind.
It is the helpful strategy to remember what you are studying.
