SSC JE 2022: Application Process Begins, Know How to Register Here

SSC JE 2022: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has initiated the application process for SSC JE 2022 on August 12. Candidates desirous of applying for the posts of Junior Engineer (JE) can proceed to fill the application forms for the exam. The link to fill and submit the application forms is available at ssc.nic.in. The deadline to apply for the Junior Engineer posts is September 2, 2022.
SSC JE 2022: Eligibility Criteria
 
Age limit: The candidate applying for the exam must be between 18 to 32 years of age. However, the reserved category candidates have been provided relaxation in upper age limit.
 
Educational qualifications: The candidate must hold either a diploma or a degree in Civil/Electrical and Quantity surveying and Contracts/Mechanical.
 
SSC JE 2022: Application Fee
 
The application fee amount has been fixed as Rs 100. However, the reserved category candidates, women candidates, physically handicapped candidates and ex-servicemen have been exempted from application fee payment.
 
SSC JE 2022: Procedure to Fill Application Form
 
Candidates must abide by the step-by-step process mentioned below in order to fill the application form for SSC Junior Engineer exam.

1. Log on to the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in.
2. Register yourself on the website to generate your login credentials (Registration ID and password).
3. Login through the generated credentials to fill the application form.
4. Fill in the application form details.
5. Upload scanned copies of signature as well as passport size photographs.
6. Make payment of application fee in the online mode and submit the details. Obtain a hard copy of the confirmation page for future references.

SSC JE 2022: Exam Details and Selection Process
 
The recruitment exam to fill posts of Junior Engineers will be conducted by SSC tentatively in November 2022. The selection process involves two papers. Paper 1 will be held in November 2022 in the online mode. Those candidates who stand qualified in the exam will be shortlisted for Paper 2.
 
The final round will involve the document verification process as well as medical examination of the candidates.
 
Candidates recruited through this drive will be appointed as Junior Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) in various Ministries, Departments and Organizations in the Government of India.
