The examination for the Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary Level (SSC CHSL) 2021 was scheduled to be conducted from April 12 to 26, 2021. The official notification reads, “Due to the surge in COVID-19 cases across the country, the Commission has decided to defer and postpone the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination (Tier-I), 2020 with effect from 20-04-2021. Fresh and revised dates for the balance candidates of the said examination will be intimated in due course”.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is conducting the SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam 2020 for recruitment on 4726 vacant posts which includes 158 vacancies for LDC, JSA, JPA and 3181 for PA, SA and 7 for DEO posts.
SSC CHSL examination is conducted for the recruitment of Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operators for various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India. The forms were released on November 06, 2020. Candidates who qualify Tier I would have to appear for Tier-II examination.
