The online application process for the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE 2019) will start today, September 8, 2018.
However, the registration will close on December 1.
"Dear Candidates AISSEE 2019-20 registration will be done ONLINE. No offline registration for any school will be done this year," read an official notice.
How to register for Sainik School AISSEE 2019?
The simple regsitration process as follows:
Step 1: Visit sainikschooladmission.in.
Step 2: Go to the Sainik School AISSEE 2019 admission link (To be active soon)
Step 3: Read the instructions.
Step 4: Fill the form and submit it.
The written exam be held on January 6, 2018. Detailed programme will be intimated by the conducting Schools. Due to change in format total number of questions in class VI as well as IX may change.
Medium of Examination for Class VI examinations will be English, Hindi.
The question papers for Class VI will continue to be set in English and all the recognized official languages.
But question papers for class IX will be set in English only and students are required to answer in English.
The minimum qualifying marks for general category candidates as well as children of Defence Services Personnel and ex-servicemen will be 25% in each subject with 40% in aggregate.
In the case of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates, minimum qualifying standards are not required and they will be admitted on the basis of inter-se merit at the Entrance Examination within these categories. In case a SC/ST candidate comes in the general merit on his own, he would be admitted against general seat and will not be adjusted against the reserved share of SC/ST seats.
