Amid COVID-19 pandemic havoc across the country, the Rajasthan government has again postponed the REET 2021 examination. The Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher 2021 was earlier rescheduled for June 20, 2021. As per the latest media reports, the announcement has been made by Rajasthan Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasra.
The revised exam date for REET 2021 will be announced after monitoring the prevailing situation in due course of time. Earlier the REET exam, which was originally scheduled for April 25, has been rescheduled for June 20, 2021.

The REET 2021 exam will be held in two sessions and will consist of two papers. Paper 1 will be for those candidates who want to teach Class 1 to Class 5 while paper 2 is for those who want to teach class 6-8. This year's REET exam was marred by controversy, as the Jain community had previously requested that the exam be postponed due to Mahavir Jayanti on April 25.
