NTA official has conveyed a new directive in reference to JEE Mains 2020. According to the directive, the differently-abled candidates are going to get 2 hours of extra time during the JEE Exam which has been scheduled to be conducted in January 2020.
According to the management of the National Examination Agency (NTA), the exam conducting body, candidates with 40% or more disabilities can ask for extra time. Till now only those candidates were able to get the benefit of extra time who had Scribe. But now the different special students who write the exam themselves will also be able to take advantage of the extra time. Not only this, but acid attack victims can also take advantage of this facility.
NTA, the Central Government has changed the facilities provided to the differently-abled under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016.
JEE Mains 2020: Other Information
Mode of Examination
JEE (Main)-2020 will be conducted in the following modes:
(a) B.E. /B. Tech. in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only.
(b) B. Arch: Mathematics- Part I and Aptitude Test-Part II in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only and Drawing Test –Part III in “Pen & Paper Based” (offline) mode to be attempted on drawing sheet of A4 size.
(c) B.Planning: Mathematics- Part I, Aptitude Test-Part II and Planning Based Questions Part III in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only.
