Non-Programmable calculator allowed in GATE 2015
In a much needed relief to the students, IIT Kanpur, organising institute for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2015 has relieved students to carry Non-Programmable calculator in the exam.

The online virtual calculator will not be allowed in Computer Based Test (CBT) Examination.

The online examination for M.Tech, Ph.D and PSU Jobs will be conducted on January 31 and February 01, 07 and 08, 2015. More than 8,000 students from Engineering colleges and Universities of Knowledge Park situated at Greater Noida will sit in the examination.

The mock test for GATE-2015 has been started. The online mock test for all 22 subjects are available in CBT format. The online admit card for GATE -2015 has also been issued. There will be two sections in every paper of GATE. Students can view entire paper in different sections as well.

Every single question would be visible for students ; the marks to be obtained and to be deducted for wrong answers will also be visible. On the upper right corner of computer screen photo and examination duration will be visible.

GATE- 2015 Exam Pattern :
Every Paper of 22 different subjects will be of 180 minutes. There will be 65 questions for 100 Marks and 10 questions of 15 Marks in First Section. In Second section there will be 55 questions of 85 Marks.
