Candidates should note that they will be charged Rs 5,000/- as a late fee for registration after January 17. Moreover, the NIFT 2022 application form correction facility would be made available for candidates from 18th January to 22nd January 2022. NIFT conducts entrance exam to offer admission to BDes, BFTech, MDes, MFTech, and MFM programmes. For shortlisting the candidates, NIFT conducts the Creative Ability Test (CAT) and GAT (General Ability Test).

NIFT 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor Programmmes – Design – B.Des.
The candidates wishing to apply for the exam should have completed their Class 12 examination from any recognized Central/ State Board of Secondary Education.
Even with a General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri-Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level/ International Baccalaureate (IB) are also eligible to apply.
Bachelor Programme – Technology
The candidates wishing to apply for the exam should have completed their Class 12 examination from any recognized Central/ State Board of Secondary Education.
Even with a General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri-Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level/ International Baccalaureate (IB) are also eligible to apply.
Moreover, the candidate who has got 3 or 4 years diploma in any branch of engineering from a recognized institute can also apply and appear for the exam.
For Master Programmes :
Age Criteria: There is no age limit for the candidates appearing for the entrance exam of Masters Degree.
Eligibility for Master Programme – Design
The candidates who are interested to appear in the exam should have an undergraduate degree in any discipline from any recognized institute UG Diploma of minimum three years duration from NIFT / NID.
Eligibility for Master Programme – Management
M.F.M (Master of Fashion Management):
The candidates should have a UG degree or diploma of minimum three years duration from NIFT / NID.
Eligibility for Master Programme – Technology
M.F.Tech. (Master of Fashion Technology)
The candidates should have a B.F.Tech. Degree from NIFT or B.E / B.Tech. from any Institute / University recognised by law in India.\
Age Limit: The candidates should be less than 24 years of age as of 1st August 2022. The age limit is applicable for all the candidates from the general category. The candidates from ST/SC/PwD category will get a relaxation of 5 years.

New Registration
Click on the new registration link and generate a user id and password. Log in through the generated user id & password and fill in the detailed application form as instructed.
