The application process for NEST 2021 is being conducted by the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar. The application form is available on the official website upto April 30, 2021. The candidates who wish to appear for the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2021 can fill the application form online.
The NEST 2021 entrance exam is scheduled to be held on June 14, 2021. NEST 2021 examination will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT/online exam). The examination will be conducted in around 90 cities across India for admission to the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar and the University of Mumbai - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS).
The application form is available on the official website of NEST at nestexam.in. All eligible and interested candidates should go through the detailed information brochure, important dates, eligibility criteria and other details before filing the online application.
NEST 2021 Important Dates
Registration / Online application opens :24th of February 2021.
Online application closes : 30th of April 2021.
Download of admit card starts : 20th of May 2021.
Date of examination : 14th of June 2021.
Announcement of results on NEST website : 30th of June 2021.
NEST 2021 Eligibility Criteria:
The candidates who wish to apply for the exam must have at least 60 percent marks in class 12 or equivalent. Admission will be based on merits.
NEST 2021 Application Fees:
- The candidates who wish to apply for the exam will have to deposit a total of Rs 1200 as application fees.
- This fee is applicable to the candidates who belong to the unreserved and OBC category.
- For the candidates who belong to the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, PWD category, and the female candidates will have to deposit a total of Rs 600 as an application fee.

Step 1: Visit the official website i.e. nestexam.inStep 2: On the homepage, click ‘apply online’
Step 3: Click on ‘get registered’, those who have registered may directly log-in
Step 4: Fill basic information and submit
Step 5: Log-in using the registration number
Step 6: Fill the form, upload images and make payment
Step 7: Submit the application and take a print of the confirmation page.
