As per the official notification, 'The last date for submission of Application Form of NEET (UG) - 2020 i.e. 31.12.2019 (upto 11:50 p.m.) is hereby extended to 06.01.2020 (upto 11:50 p.m.)."
Earlier the last date to conclude the application process was December 31, 2019, which is now has been extended till January 06, 2020.
The online application process for NEET 2020 was commenced from December 02, 2019, at 04:00 PM, by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
The application form is available on the official website i.e. ntaneet.nic.in.
The candidates who are interested in the only undergraduate level medical entrance examination can visit the official website and apply for the exam.
According to the EXAM 2020 schedule released by NTA, the NEET 2020 exam has been scheduled to be conducted on May 03, 2020. The application process for the same is to commence from December 02, 2019, and will be concluded on January 06, 2019.
This year onwards, NEET has become mandatory for candidates who want to take admission in the MBBS course in medical colleges across the country including JIPMER and all the AIIMS. Previously, AIIMS and JIPMER conducted their own admission test for MBBS and BDS courses separately every year.

Candidates who are interested in AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER MBBS are required to appear for NEET examination this academic year onwards. For more details, candidates can visit the official site of NTA NEET.

- Submission of Online Application Form may be done by accessing the NTA website ntaneet.nic.in.
- The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted.

About NTA:
The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India (GOI), has established National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent, autonomous and self-sustained premier testing organization registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.
The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2020 for admission to the undergraduate medical education will be conducted by the NTA.
About NEET (UG) 2020:
The National Medical Commission Act, 2019 received assent of the President on 08th August 2019. Section 14 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019 provides for holding a common and uniform National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to the undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions including those governed under any other law. Thus, the admission to the MBBS course in AIIMS, New Delhi, JIPMER and all AIIMS like Institutions will also be made through NEET.
