National Board of Examinations (NBE) has released the date of examination of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Super Specialty in consultation with the National Medical Commission (NMC). As per the schedule, NEET SS 2021 exam will now be conducted on January 10, 2022, and the application window will be re-opened in November 2021.
The NEET SS 2021 exam date has been finalized after several rounds of hearings by the Supreme Court. The exam was under constant scrutiny due to the proposed changes first in the exam pattern and then its postponement from November to January. However, putting all the news and even speculations to rest, the NEET SS 2021 exam will be conducted in January 2022 as per the old pattern or 2020 exam pattern. The ongoing registration process for NEET SS 2021 has been put on hold for the time being. It will resume from November 1, 2021. Candidates should note that in this round of registration, those who have already submitted their applications will be able to edit them. The official notification of NEET SS 2021 reads that candidates who have already registered and paid an examination fee of more than Rs 4250/- in case of applying for more than one group, the additional examination fee paid by them will be refunded.
