NEET PG 2020: Counselling Process to Resume for Short Period After Lockdown

The NEET PG 2020 Counselling is likely to resume soon by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The dates for the seat allotment and result declaration will be announced on the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in. According to media reports the Medical Council of India, MCI has instructed the participating colleges to conduct and conclude the counselling process within a short time as soon as the situations turn conducive. Candidates are advised to keep an eye on the official website for latest updates related to the NEET PG 2020 Counselling. The MCC has declined all the counselling events of the NEET PG 2020 due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in the country.

Earlier the first round of counselling seat allotment was scheduled to be done on March 25 and 26, 2020. While the result was scheduled to be announced on March 27, 2020, which has now been postponed till further orders.

The examination for NEET PG 2020 was conducted on January 5, 2020, and the result was announced on February 6, 2020. The general category cut off score this year was 366. 

NEET PG 2020 exam is conducted for admission to MD/MS courses in various medical colleges across India. The exam was conducted for a total of 19953 MD seats, 10821 MS seats, 1979 Diploma seats and 1338 DNB seats in all medical colleges of India.
