NEET MDS Exam 2022: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has deferred the conduct of NEET MDS Exam 2022. Notably, the exam was slated to be held on March 6, 2022, but has now been rescheduled. As directed by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), the cutoff for internship completion has also been extended.
According to the official notice, MoHFW, Government of India has taken the decision to extend the cut-off date for completion of internship, so that candidates can meet the eligibility criteria for NEET MDS 2022. The date has been extended till July 31, 2022.
The Health Ministry's official notice read, "NEET MDS 2022 Exam may be shelved for four to six weeks. Along with this, the date of completion of compulsory rotating internship for eligibility for admission to MDS courses will probably be scheduled at July 31, 2022.
In addition to this, the online application window for submission of applications for the NEET MDS Exam 2022, which was earlier closed on January 24, 2022, will be reopened to facilitate the candidates' convenience in applying for NEET MDS Exam 2022. Revised schedule for the NEET MDS Exam 2022 and notification about reopening of Application window shall be published on the official website of NBEMS shortly.
The NEET MDS Exam 2022 will most probably be postponed for four to six weeks. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has taken the very decision to introduce parity between NEET MDS 2022 Exam and NEET PG 2022 Examination. Therefore, now the NEET MDS 2022 Exam is expected to be conducted at around the same date as that of NEET PG 2022 Exam.
