He said that all the students appearing for NEET and JEE examinations and their parents are requesting that these examinations be postponed keeping in view the present circumstances. In such a situation, the Ministry has already been asked to consider the NTA by making a Committee. After making an NTA committee, considering the status of conducting NEET and JEE examinations and assessing all the circumstances, it will give its recommendation by tomorrow.

The concrete decision can be taken regarding NEET and JEE exams After the recommendations of NTA. Significantly, in view of increasing cases of coronavirus, there is a demand from students and parents to postpone the NEET and JEE examinations. Students have also started a campaign on social media about this.
The NEET exam is to be held on 26 July. It will seat about 16 lakh students. While the JEE Main exam is to be conducted between 18 and 23 July.
