The examination for the UPSC Engineering Service Mains and Geo-Scientist Mains Exam 2020 has been deferred by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). 

As per the latest calendar issued some time back, the examinations were earlier scheduled to be conducted on August 8 and 9, 2020.

The revised dates for these exams would be updated later on upsc.gov.in by the commission.

The UPSC  has also introduced the centre change window for the candidates of Civil Services Preliminary Exams 2020 recently. The examination has been scheduled to be conducted on October 4, 2020. The candidates would be given two opportunities to access those windows and file the changes in the centres. The first would be from July 7 to July 13, 2020, and the second would be from July 20 to July 24, 2020.

The preliminary exams for Engineering Services Exam 2020 were conducted on January 1, 2020, and the geoscientist exam was conducted on January 19, 2020. The mains exams were awaited in August which have now been cancelled. The candidates are advised to check the official website for updates.
