The petitions on the postponement of JEE Main 2020 and NEET 2020 examinations would be addressed today i.e. August 17, 2020, by the Supreme Court. More than 20 lakh students have reportedly registered for JEE Main and NEET 2020 examination.  Meanwhile, the NTA is expected to release the JEE Main 2020 admit card on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The admit cards have not been released yet. According to the media sources, the admit card is expected to be released today i.e. August 17, 2020. However, there is no official confirmation regarding the release date yet. 

As per the official notice, the dates of downloading of Sept. Exam hall tickets indicating roll number and centre of the examination will be displayed 15 days before the conduct of the exam on the official website of NTA and JEE Main. However, there are some reports that suggest that the admit card has been delayed due to the hearing. 

The JEE Main Exam 2020 would be conducted in two shifts- first shift and second shift. The first shift would be conducted from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and the second shift would be conducted from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. Each shift will be for 3 hours. The examination would be a computer-based test and the subjects included are Physics, Chemistry, General Aptitude, and Mathematics.

Follow the steps mentioned below to download JEE Main admit card 2020:

Step 1: Go to the official website i.e. nta.ac.in or jeemain.nta.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the link that reads “JEE Main Admit Card 2020” (link to be activated soon)
Step 3: Fill in the required details such as application number and password (or date of birth).
Step 4: The JEE Main 2020 admit card will be displayed on the screen
Step 5: Check the details printed on the admit card carefully 
Step 6: Download it and take a printout for further reference.
