Mizoram Board Class 12 Remaining Exams Deferred Again as Students Disapproval Continues on Social Media

Class 12th remaining exams in Mizoram have been deferred again. Earlier the government had decided to conduct these exams from April 22 to 24.

Students started posting on social media that 'they will not give exams'. After the extension of the lockdown, the government has again postponed the remaining exams of class XII.

Due to the lockdown every state government has postponed/ rescheduled the examinations. Also, the schools, colleges, and other educational institutes will remain closed until the next announcement by the government to prevent the Coronavirus disease.

It is expected the remaining exams of class 12th can be held in May if the lockdown gets over. For official update check the Mizoram board official website. The exams of Class X have also been postponed in the state.

On 16 April, Mizoram Education Minister Lalanchadama Ralte announced that the remaining examinations of class XII will be conducted from April 22 onwards. After the announcement, the students started criticizing and many of them started a campaign ‘no exam’ on social media against the Education Minister's decision. The students clearly said the government should withdraw its decision as they will not take the exam during the lockdown.
