Directorate of Education Research and Training, DERT Meghalaya has extended the registration last date for Meghalaya TET 2021. As per the official notification, the candidates can apply for the Meghalaya Teacher Eligibility Test-2021 upto August 31. Earlier the last date to apply for the eligibility examination was August 19, 2021.
The DERT Meghalaya has commenced the registration process for MTET 2021 on August 13. DERT conducts the Teacher Eligibility Test for candidates desirous of appointment as Elementary School Teachers for Class I to V and for teachers appointed to teach Class VI to VIII. The Meghalaya TET examination for the year 2021 was originally scheduled on August 28, 2021. The authorities have released the application form online on the official site of DERT Meghalaya on megeducation.gov.in.

MTET 2021 Eligibility Criteria
For Class I to V - Candidate must have passed Class 12 board exams or any other equivalent board with 50% marks.
For Class VI to VIII - Candidate should possess Bachelor's degree from any recognized university with 50% marks.

MTET 2021 Application Form - How to Apply?
Step 1 - Visit the official website of the DERT Meghalaya on megeducation.gov.in.
Step 2 - Click on the link that reads, ‘Online Application for MTET 2021’.
Step 3 - Go through the detailed instructions and proceed to fill application form online.
Step 4 - Feed in the required details, upload necessary documents and pay the application fee.
Step 5 - Cross check the details provided and click on the final submission of application.
Step 6 - Download the confirmation page and keep it safe for future references.
Note - MTET 2021 Offline application will also be accepted at the respective Centres.
