KTET Registration 2022: Kerala Pareeksha Bhawan has opened the registration window for Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test 2022 (KTET 2022). The examination conducting body organizes this test twice a year for filling the posts of teachers in Upper Primary, Lower Primary and High schools of Kerala state. Candidates willing to register for the examination can proceed with the application from today, i.e. February 9, 2022 on the official website of Kerala TET at ktet.kerala.gov.in.

KTET Exam 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates desirous of applying for the examination must possess the following eligibility criteria.

1. For Category 1: Lower Primary Teacher: Classes 1 to 5: The applicant should have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 45%. He/she must also hold a two year trained teachers' certificate TTC/DEd, conducted by Board of examination, Kerala government.
2. For Category 2: Upper Primary Teacher: The candidate should have completed his/her graduation in BA/Bsc/BCom. and must hold a 2 year long diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) conducted by the Board of examination, Kerala government.
3. For Category 3: High School teacher: Graduation in BA/BCom/BSc with an aggregate percentage of 45% plus a BEd. Degree in the main subject are a must for the candidate willing to apply.
4. For Category 4: Language Teacher, Specialist Teacher and Physical Education: Those candidates who have acquired qualifications for the posts of Language teachers in Sanskrit, Arabic, Hindi and Urdu (up to Upper Primary Level), Specialist Teachers and Physical Education teachers mentioned in Chapter 31 of the Kerala Education Act stand eligible to apply for KTET 4.

KTET Exam 2022: Application fee

The application fee has been fixed as Rs 500 for the General category candidates. Meanwhile, the candidates falling under the SC/ST or physically handicapped category are required to pay Rs 250 as application fees.

Candidates can follow the step-by-step guide to apply successfully for KTET Exam 2022.

1. Log on to the official website of Kerala TET on ktet.kerala.gov.in.  
2. Click on the registration link located on the home page to register yourself. You will be redirected to a new page.
3. Enter the required fields to register yourself. Then log in to your account using generated credentials.
4. Fill in your details in the application form and submit. Then pay the required application fees.
5. Download the confirmation page and also take a printout of the same.
