Kerala Board of Public Examination Announces New Guidelines For SSLC, HSE, VHSE Exam 2020

The Kerala Board of Public Examinations, KBPE is all set to commence the Kerala SSLC Exam 2020 from Tomorrow, May 26, 2020. The Board will conduct the pending exams for SSLC (Class 10), Plus One (Class 11) and Plus Two (Class 12). The examination will be commenced from May 26 and will be concluded within 5 days i.e. May 31, 2020. Also, the CM of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan informed that the government is following all the safety measures that are necessary for both students and the teachers. The exams will be accompanied by strict rules and safety considerations. 

Re-assuring the parents, the Kerala Education Minister Professor C Raveendranath said that all safety guidelines will be followed to ensure that students are safe. For students who will not be able to appear in the examination, the Minister has said that such students can appear in the "Save the Year", SAY exam which will be held later.

The SAY exam is usually conducted for students who get failed to qualify the public examinations. However regular students can decide whether they can appear on the May 26 exam or will apply for the SAY exam.

According to media reports, Prof. C. Rabindranath assured that the Kerala education department is making all arrangements to bring the schools back to normalcy. As per the instructions of the Central Health Department, facilities like cleaning, thermal scanning of schools are being done and students will be safe in the school like they are in their homes. "

Earlier, the examinations were to take place in the month of 30 March 2020 but had to be postponed due to coronavirus. Students are advised to keep an eye on the official website for further details and latest updates.
