The exam for KEAM 2020 has been postponed by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination, due to COVID-19 pandemic.
The revised dates will be announced on the official website i.e. cee.kerala.gov.in, soon.
The Kerala Engineering/Pharmacy entrance examination was earlier scheduled to be conducted on April 20 & 21, 2020 in the state.
The statement released by the Commissioner reads, “Due to the Covid-19 epidemic and the lockdown, Kerala Engineering/Pharmacy entrance examinations scheduled to be held on 20th and 21st April 2020 have been postponed. New dates will be announced later.”
The registration process was started on February 1, 2020, and ended on February 29, 2020. The admit card was supposed to release on April 10, 2020, which now is expected to get delayed.
KEAM 2020 is the examination being conducted for admission to various courses like MBBS, BDS, Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, Agriculture and other courses in the state of Kerala.
About KEAM
Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) is an entrance examination series for admissions to various professional degree courses in the state of Kerala, India. It is conducted by the Office of the Commissioner of Entrance Exams run by the Government of Kerala.
However, after the National Eligibility, cum Entrance Test (NEET) was constituted, the admission to medical colleges in Kerala are mostly done on the basis of NEET scores.
