The announcement has been made by the Karnataka Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar through a press conference. As per the reports, the Karnataka SSLC examinations will have a multi-choice question paper for mathematics, science and social science and one more question paper for languages.
Moreover, the second pre-university college students would be promoted to the next level on the basis of internal assessment. Also, if a student is not satisfied with the marking scheme can appear in the offline examinations.

Earlier, the Karnataka 2nd PUC theoretical examinations were scheduled to be held from May 24 to June 16 and SSLC (Class 10) exams were scheduled from June 21 to July 5, 2021. The related update is also available on the official website at pue.kar.nic.in.
The Karnataka State Government has previously announced to promote the Students of classes 1 to 9 to the next grade without conducting any examination.
