JKPSC KAS 2022: The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) will shut down the application window for JKPSC KAS 2022 today on May 15, 2022. Those candidates who have still not registered for the exam and are interested to apply must log on to the official website of JKPSC at jkpsc.nic.in to submit application forms. The application process is underway for the Jammu and Kashmir Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Exam 2022.
JKPSC KAS 2022: Prelims exam date
 
The Jammu and Kashmir Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Exam 2022 will be conducted on June 26. Candidates who qualify the prelims exam will stand eligible to appear for the Mains exam, which has been scheduled for October 28. A total of 220 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment examination.

100 posts of Junior Scale of J&K Administrative Service, 50 posts of J&K Police and 70 posts of J&K Accounts service will be filled through this examination.

JKPSC KAS 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Age limit: The upper age limit has been set as 32 years for the Open Category candidates, while the limit is 34 years for the reserved category candidates, as on January 1, 2022.

Educational qualifications: The applicants should have pursued a Bachelor's degree in any subject from a recognised University/Institution.

JKPSC KAS 2022: Selection Process

The selection process for the aforementioned posts will encompass three stages; Prelims exam, Mains exam and Interview/Personality test round.

JKPSC KAS 2022: Application fee

The application fee amount has been fixed as Rs 1,000 for the general category candidates. The candidates belonging to reserved category will be required to pay an amount of Rs 500 as the application fee.

Candidates willing to apply for the exam must take note of the following steps.

1. Log on to the official website of JKPSC at jkpsc.nic.in.
2. Under the 'Recruitment' tab, click on the option that reads "Job/Online application'- Combined Competitive Preliminary".
3. Register yourself on the website and then proceed to the application process. Fill in the application form details.
4. Upload necessary documents in the prescribed format and make payment of application fee.
5. Submit the form details and preview the confirmation page.
6. Print a hard copy of the form for future references.
