JEE Advanced 2021 - PC : My Result Plus
Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur has recently issued information brochure for Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Advanced 2021. The information brochure and list of documents required during JEE (Advanced) 2021 registration are now available on the website at jeeadv.ac.in. It has been expected that the revised dates for JEE Advanced registration, admission, counselling and other important datesw will be announced soon by the Institute. 

"Due to the prevailing Covid – 19 pandemic related circumstances in India, the date of JEE (Advanced) 2021, stated in the Information Brochure, has been postponed. A new date will be announced in due course" reads an official statement. Previously, registration for JEE Advanced was scheduled to begin on June 7 and conclude on July 14.

"As a consequence, the dates for registration, admission, counselling etc., contained in this document may also be revised" further reads the statement. Every year, over 2.5 lakh candidates who pass the JEE Main examination are eligible to apply for the JEE Advanced. Notably, the JEE Advanced examination consists of two papers: Paper I and Paper II.

About JEE Advanced examination

Every year, JEE Advanced is conducted by one of the seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), namely IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, and IIT Roorkee, or the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, under the auspices of the Joint Admission Board (JAB). Admission to Bachelor's, Integrated Master's, and Dual Degree programmes (admission at the 10+2 level) at all 23 IITs, including the Indian School of Mines (ISM), is dependent on candidates' JEE Advanced scores.

Candidates can apply for admission to the following courses via JEE Advanced:

● Four-year bachelor's degree - BTech, BS 5-year bachelor's degree - BArch 5-year dual bachelor's degree - BTech, MTech, BS, MS
● Five-year Integrated Masters Program - MTech, MSc, and Dual Degree.

JEE Advanced 2021 will consist of two papers administered in two sessions:
● The first paper will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., while the second paper will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

● Candidates must register online for the computer-based entrance examination

Candidates who pass the JEE Main 2021 examination will be eligible to apply for the JEE Advanced examination for admission to India's IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology).
