JAC Jharkhand Board Exam: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) is slated to hold the state board examinations for Class 10 (Matriculation students) as well as Class 12 (Intermediate students) in the offline mode, starting March 24, 2022 onwards. During the course of the examination activities, strict compliance to Covid-19 norms and other protocols will be ensured, the JAC officials stated on Thursday, February 24, 2022.
Notably, in the current academic year, approximately 8 lakh students would be appearing in the Class 10 and 12 state board exams in Jharkhand.
Secretary of Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), Mahip Kumar Singh stated, "We have made all the necessary preparations and arrangements to conduct the board examinations for Class 10 and 12 students from March 24, 2022 onwards. The examination will advance in the offline mode. However, entire Covid-appropriate behavior and guidelines in line with the precautionary measures will be ensured at the examination venues. Social distancing norms will be followed and everyone would be directed to wear masks as well".
In addition to this, the Jharkhand Academic Council has also released the datesheet for the state board exams on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. According to the released time table, the board examinations for Class 10 students will conclude on April 20, while those of Intermediate students will conclude on April 25, 2022.
"This year, the number of students appearing for the Jharkhand state board exams are high in number as compared to the previous year," Singh stated. The exam will unfold in two sittings. First sitting will witness the examination of Class 10 students, while Class 12 students will write their papers in the second sitting.
It is noteworthy that the state board exams are taking place in Jharkhand after 2020, owing to the threats posed by Covid-19 pandemic.
