Indian Institute of Science, IISc Bangalore has extended the registration last date for Joint Admission Test for Masters 2021. As per the official updates, aspiring candidates can now fill the online application for JAM 2021 upto May 27, 2021. The admission form is available in the online mode on the official website of the Institue at jam.iisc.ac.in. 

Earlier the last date to fill online application form for IISc JAM 2021 was May 20, 2021. The candidates who have qualified the Joint Admission Test for Masters 2021 are eligible to fill the admission form for masters programmes. Candidates are advised to fill up the institute and programmes of their choices before the due date.

Eligible candidates will get admission to various master’s programs offered by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) located across the country. 

 IISc Bangalore will release three admission lists of IIT JAM 2021. The merit list will be based on the basis of details mentioned in the JAM admission form and number of seats available in various institutions. Out of the JAM 2021 three admission list, the first list will be released on June 16, while the second and third list will be released on July 1 and July 16, respectively.

Indian Institute of Science, IISc Bangalore has conducted the JAM 2021 entrance exam on February 14 in the computer based (CBT) mode at various centres across the country. The IISc Bangalore has released the final answer key of JAM 2021 entrance exam on March 18, 2021. While the result for the same was declared on  March 20.

About IIT JAM:

Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM) is being conducted from 2004 to provide admissions to M.Sc. (Four Semesters), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree, etc. at various IITs and IISc.
It is conducted in the month of February. IIT JAM score is also used for admission to other centrally-funded technical institutions including NITs, IIEST Shibpur, SLIET Punjab and IISERs.
