IGNOU PhD Entrance Exam 2021

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the IGNOU PhD Entrance Exam 2021 date on the official website of IGNOU. Candidates slated to appear in the Indira Gandhi National Open University PhD examination can check the released official notice on IGNOU's website at ignou.ac.in. Notably, the PhD examination will be conducted on February 24, 2022.

The NTA-released notice reads, " In continuation to the public notice released on January 7, 2022 regarding the extension of registration date of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU PhD) Entrance Examination 2021 for admission to various PhD courses for the academic year 2021-22, it is hereby informed that the National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the IGNOU PhD 2021 Entrance Examination on February 24, 2022.
It is noteworthy that the examination was scheduled to be held on January 16, 2022 earlier, which was deferred.
IGNOU PhD Entrance Exam 2021: Exam pattern
The duration of the exam is 3 hours and will be conducted from 10 am to 1 pm. The question paper will consist of 100 questions and the medium of instruction will be Hindi and English. No negative marks will be awarded for wrong answers. Each question carries 4 marks and the same will be awarded for every correct answer.
In order to qualify the exam, the candidate must secure at least 50% marks in the entrance test. On securing 50% or above, the candidate will be called for the interview round on the order of merit.
