The examination for the ICSI CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) has been scheduled to be conducted on August 29, 2020, by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). The examination will be conducted through remote proctored mode due to the pandemic. Earlier the examination was scheduled to be conducted in July, however, it was postponed later.

ICSI released a notification regarding the same. The notification stated “All eligible candidates would be allowed to appear for the test through laptop or desktop from home or any such other convenient place. However, the candidates shall not be allowed to appear through smartphone (mobile) or tablet etc.”

ICSI CS 2020: Revised Exam Pattern

There have been some changes in the paper pattern of ICSI CS CEET. The viva voice part would not hold applicability for the first CSEET, whereas the computer-based MCQ portion of the online test part of the CSEET would remain the same as per the existing structure informed. According to this the paper 4 would also carry a total of 50 marks consisting of different questions on current affairs, presentation and communication skills.

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, ICSI merged the ICSI CS June 2020 exam with the CS December 2020 examination session earlier. The Institute has issued an official notice related to this stating the postponement of ICSI CS June 20250 attempt with December 2020.
