The exam for the Indian Council of Agricultural Research National Eligibility Test (ICAR NET) has been postponed by the Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Board (ASRB).
The application process for the Indian Council of Agricultural Research National Eligibility Test (ICAR NET concluded on November 4, 2019, by the Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Board (ASRB).
The examination which was scheduled to be conducted from December 9 to December 15, 2019, will now be conducted from January 6 to January 10, 2020. The official notice has been released by the Board on asrb.org.in.
As per the official notice, the rescheduling of ICAR NET 2019 examination is due to some administrative reasons.
ICAR NET 2019: Eligibility
Age: The applicant must be at least 21 years old to be eligible to apply. There is no upper age limit.
ICAR NET 2019: Fee
Candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 1000. For EWS and OBC candidates the fee is Rs 500 while for the SC, ST, PwD and women candidates the fee is Rs 250.

National Eligibility Test, NET is a qualifying examination for determining eligibility for the position of Lecturer/ Assistant Professor in the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) and other Agricultural Universities (AUs). Candidates clearing the NET will be eligible to apply for the post if Lecturers or Assistant Professors in the SAUs/AUs.
