The registration window for the CA Foundation November 2020 is to conclude this month i.e. August 31, 2020, by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). The Institue has extended the last date for the application form in light of the coronavirus outbreak across the country and the cancellation of class 12th exams by various Boards. Earlier the last date to submit the online application form was June 30, 2020. The application form is available online on the official website of ICAI at icai.org.
Meanwhile, the Institute is conducting the Orientation Course and Information Technology Training through virtual mode for Foundation and Direct Entry route students by the Regional Councils and Branch offices of ICAI.
The official notification reads, "In view of the ongoing spurt of the COVID-19 virus pandemic and subsequent suspension of IT and Soft Skills Classes all across the country, the competent authority has decided that the students of both Foundation and Direct Entry, who are eligible to undergo Orientation Course/Information Technology Course can undergo the aforestated Courses through virtual mode to be conducted by the respective regional and branch offices of ICAI."
